The Ever Creeping MacBook

Over the last few months I have observed a change in the way I complete tasks on my computer. Whereas six months ago I used my PC for almost everything, I now find that I turn to my MacBook Pro when I have tasks to complete. This is neither by plan nor design but appears to be Pavlovian in nature; I’m following the path of least resistance and frustration.

This is an unexpected change for me. When I purchased my MacBook I had intended it as a host for XCode and honestly little else. I’ve been a die-hard PC user for well over fifteen years now and found it unlikely that a Mac would convert me. In truth it has taken a little over six months for me to reach a point where I now complete more tasks on my MacBook Pro than on the PC I’ve owned and upgraded for more than a decade.
